Amani Southerland is an author, activist and strategist. Originating from Brooklyn, NY, Amani prides herself on being a dot connector. With her unique experience in management and marketing, she has become an asset to multiple organizations. Most known for her commitment to grass-root reform, Amani's mission is to bridge the gap between the political and entertainment worlds. Throughout her career, she has wore many hats including serving as Influencer Strategist for the Democratic National Committee and being the news/ political social content manager for The Shade Room. Amani always says "music is my passion, politics is my purpose." And she believes that politics is the virtue towards a better way of living.
